CDI April English Academies which has 13 different branches of CDI (Chungdahm Institute) and April English Academies spread across most of the larger neighborhoods in Busan and two branches in Changwon (and more to be built in nearby cities) is looking for 3 Education focused and great ESL Teachers to fill positions in the Dongrae branch, Kwangali Beach and Busanjin branches.
Our Dongrae branch is looking for an ESL ”high level” instructor. If you have a strong interest in teaching “advanced” kids in terms of their English skills, please do indicate you are interested in the position.

CDI: teach English proficient children from 5th grade to 9th grade in basic to very advanced English at one of our 6 branches of CDI (ChungDahm Institute) around Busan and one in Changwon city. The branches are in Dongrae, Gwangali Beach, Busanjin

***Due to recent changes in Immigration regulations, the process for application and gathering the appropriate documents for E-2 visas is much longer than in the past. It is recommended that the request for Certificates of No Criminal History by local police departments be started immediately for candidates wishing to come as much as 2-3 months away. In some cases, the Certificates can be secured earlier than later, but in some cases, the process takes as long as 6-12 weeks.
Busan: 2.2 - 3.2 million/month + semi-furnished housing + airfare + 1 month’s bonus + 50% medical & pension + opportunities for management (Head Instructor, Faculty Manager, Director)
Requirements for the ESL Job:
- Undergraduate degree from a 4-year University
- Fluent verbal (non-accented) and written English skills
- Minimum one-year contract
- Sealed transcripts, original diploma, and valid passport
- Passionate and professional about teaching children
